A man who exposed himself to an Oak Park and River Forest High School student on the morning of April 8, appears to have struck again in the same area.

OPRF spokesperson Karin Sullivan said in an email to parents Wednesday afternoon that the most recent incident took place in the same area as the original – the 300 block of North Scoville Avenue.

Sullivan described the recent incident as being of “the exact same nature” as the one on April 8, when a man driving a dark-colored Toyota Camry with tinted windows and temporary license plates exposed himself to an OPRF student.

The most recent incident also was a man in a vehicle with the same description. The letter to parents noted that the Oak Park Police Department and Chicago Police Department were working to apprehend the individual.

Oak Park Police Commander Joe Moran said in a telephone interview that the incident on April 24 took place at 7:35 a.m. That’s only about half an hour prior to the incident that took place on April 8.

The offender was inside his vehicle and appeared to be masturbating, Moran said.
