Staff Reporter The village of Oak Park received a $310,000 grant from the Cook County Board of Commissioners. The Invest in Cook grant money will go toward the village's Lake Street Resurfacing Project, which extends from Euclid Avenue to Austin Boulevard. The resurfacing portion of the Lake Street capital improvement project is estimated to cost $1,992,645 with local funds making up $1,682,645. According to Village Engineer Bill McKenna, work is expected to occur primarily in the summer of 2020 due to proximity to Oak Park and River Forest High School and other schools. Stacey Sheridan
