July 4th Parade and Fireworks Wednesday, July 4, Parade at 10 a.m., Fireworks at Dusk, Village of Oak Park: The Independence Day Parade steps off from Longfellow Park (Ridgeland and Adams) and marches north on Ridgeland to Augusta, turning east to disperse near Whittier Elementary at Harvey Ave. Weather permitting, a fireworks display is in the football stadium of Oak Park & River Forest High School, East Ave. and Lake St.
